This building enables spying and countermeasures.
In the Tavern you can hire spies to do your dirty work for you. Spies will help gather intel on your enemies, either troop numbers or building levels. You should be careful though, your enemy can activate countermeasures to get you falsified intel back home.
Each countermeasure can help you in different ways. You can read what each technology (countermeasure) does, by reading it down below.
The Tavern becomes available when your Headquarters have reached level 10.

|3||Camouflage||This research unlocks the camouflage countermeasure. The camouflage countermeasure allows you to deceive enemy Spies who scout your village, and displays a false building level for one of your structures.|
|6||Switch weapons||This research unlocks the switch weapon countermeasure. This countermeasure deceives your opponents by switching two random military unit numbers with each other and displaying them for your enemies.|
|9||Dummies||This research unlocks the dummies countermeasure. This countermeasure deceives other players by displaying your empty army slots as if they were occupied by Spearmen.|
|12||Exchange||This research unlocks the exchange countermeasure. This countermeasure forces a Spy who failed to scout your village to submit a spy report of his or her own village instead.|
The maximum level of the Tavern is 15.
