Finding a tribe

It is strongly recommended that you find a tribe to join as soon as possible if you are a new player. While it is possible to create your own tribe, we would recommend waiting until you have more experience to do so.

In order to join a tribe you can wait until you receive an invitation or directly apply to a tribe in your area. To view a list of tribes, you can open the tribe window from your main menu bar.

Most tribes will typically show whether they are allowing applications or not. They will also list the name of the leader or recruitment manager. This is the person you should mail to inquire about an invitation.

Most tribes are asking for an application text to find members that are fitting to their play style. So don't be frustrated if some tribes do not accept your application. Just try another tribe. Especially in the early game there is a high fluctuation of tribes and tribe members.

Leaving a tribe

If you aren't happy in your tribe, it is always possible to leave. Click "Leave tribe" to leave your tribe. You find that button when you open the profile window of your tribe.

As a tribe founder, you cannot leave your tribe that easily. You have to assign the founder role to another member first.

Tribe rights

There are a number of privileges that can be given to each tribe member.

You can choose a predefined role (like leader, diplomat or forum moderator) for a member, or adjust the rights manually.

The rights are:

Right icon	Description
	Administrate news & events Allows the player to change the tribe profile screen. This includes tribe banner, profile text, apply information and displayed tribe achievements. The tribe name cannot be changed with this right.
	Administrate tribe profile Allows the player to change the tribe profile screen. This includes tribe banner, profile text, apply information and displayed tribe achievements. The tribe name cannot be changed with this right.
	Member management Allows the player to manage all tribe members. You should be careful when awarding this right. A malicious player could kick all the members of the tribe.
	Recruit members Allows the player to invite new members and accept or decline applications.
	Administrate noble planner Allows the player to edit the noble planner settings.
	Administrate diplomacy Allows the player to edit diplomatic relations with other tribes. The diplomat cannot declare or end wars.
	Administrate tribal wars Allows the player to declare war or peace to another tribe. Also inviting other tribes to war.
	Forum moderator Allows the player to moderate the tribe internal forum. This right does not include the possibility to create or delete sub-forums.
	Administrate tribal quests Allows the player to manage all tribe quest related issues. More details will come in the future.
	Edit tribe settings Allows the player to change the tribe settings.

Hint: Never give this right to a member unless you really trust them. They can disband your tribe, and once that is done there is no way to get it back. You will need to recreate it from scratch.
